Rental Process
Renting a golf cart or beach accessories from right coast carts is a simple process. Just select your dates, place your items in the cart, pay for your reservation and sit back and relax! Our friendly staff will assist you with the rental agreement about a week before your arrival and the delivery and pickup at your rental location is included! We strive to create a hassle-free experience so you can enjoy your vacation without any worries.
Reservation
To guarantee the availability of our preferred cart or beach accessories, we recommend making a reservation in advance at right coast carts. By reserving your items, you ensure that they will be ready for you upon arrival – allowing you to start your beach adventures without delay!
Refund Policy
If you plans change you may cancel your reservation at least 30 calendar days in advance. Cancellations between 15-29 days will incur a 25% charge. Cancellations 14 days or less will incur a 50% charge. No refunds will be given for misuse of equipment or carts that render the products inoperable before the return date.
Safety Guidelines
At right coast carts, your safety is our top priority. We provide thorough safety guidelines and operating instructions for our carts and beach accessories. Our staff is always available to answer any additional questions or provide more in-depth explanations to any of our policies or procedures.
Age Policy
All golf cart rentals require the primary renter to be at least 25 years old. In addition to your license info, we require an auto insurance policy (name and policy number) as well as the physical address of the house you are staying at while in Sandbridge.
Operating Area
Our carts are street-legal and may be driven on all of the roads in Sandbridge. They may not be driven west (back towards town) up Sandbridge Road past the Ben & Jerry’s parking lot.
Delivery Area
Our Sandbridge delivery area is simple. If it’s east of Ben & Jerry’s it’s fair game! We deliver to any address within the dotted red line on the map linked here
Damage Policy
In the unlikely event of any damage to the cart or beach accessories, please inform our team immediately. Primary renter is responsible for all damages, including lost revenue due to downtime for repairs.
Weather
Our carts are fine to stay outside in the rain, you can even spray them off with a hose if they get dirty. However, driving in the rain is not recommended as water can get sprayed up into sensitive electrical components and cause damage rendering the cart inoperable. There are no refunds for inclement weather.
Parking
You can park the cart wherever you could park a car. The carts are not allowed on the beach – and to be honest you wouldn’t make it very far anyways!
Security
The best practice to keep your rental equipment safe is to always keep your cart key with you and your beach accessories secured – especially overnight. If you lose your key let us know and we’ll get a spare to you for the remainder of your reservation. There is a $100 lost key fee so please don’t lose it!
Additional Drivers
Only licensed drivers 21 years of age and older with valid auto insurance may operate one of our carts. If it’s determined that you allow <21 year olds to operate the cart we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and retrieve the cart immediately. No refunds will be given for failure to follow this policy.
